Fireworks, special entrances and appearance by Survivor contestant

The Naturals have finalized the schedule of pre-game festivities at Arvest Ballpark for the Thursday, April 4th home opener against the Midland Rockhounds.

Coach Benjamin Wade, a three-time contestant of the CBS show Survivor, will be on hand as a guest of the Naturals and sign autographs from 6:30 to 7:30 for fans in the concourse behind home plate.

The gates will open at 5:00, and each of the first 2,500 fans to enter the ballpark will receive the official 2013 Naturals Magnet Schedule.

Fans are encouraged to enter the ballpark and take their seats by 5:45, as at that time the Naturals' mascot Strike will make a special entrance into the ballpark to kick off the ceremonies which will include speeches by Kansas City Royals' owner David Glass andGeneral Manager Eric Edelstein.

Four former notable Naturals that have appeared on the first ever Naturals Hall of Fame ballot will be whittled down to one on Opening Day. Edelstein will be revealing the much anticipated inaugural inductee to the Naturals Hall of Fame, the nominees are: Mike Moustakas, Kila Ka'aihue, Eric Hosmer, and Clint Robinson.

To introduce the All-Star season, the Naturals have created a special tribute video to past All-Stars. During the opening ceremonies the Naturals will also be acknowledging future All-Stars with a special ceremony in collaboration with local little league players.

Weather permitting; the Naturals will then continue the tradition of having skydivers land in the outfield. Strike Out Stroke has joined with the Naturals and will be flying in to Arvest Ballpark in style on a medical helicopter and deliver the ceremonial first pitch ball.

The Naturals and Liberty Bank will be continuing the Community Heroes program. The Community Heroes program honors individuals who have made a positive impact on others in their hometown or organization. Nine teachers and/or first responders will be the first Community Heroes of the 2013 season, in honor of the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy.

The George Jr. High School choir will conclude the pre-game festivities with the singing of the Star Spangled Banner as a giant American flag will be unfurled in the Arvest Ballpark outfield. The game's first pitch is scheduled for approximately 6:20, and a fireworks show will follow the conclusion of the ballgame, presented by Pinnacle Hills Promenade and Strike Out Stroke.
