Friday, June 7: Movie in the Park – A Dog’s Journey Home

Friday, June 21: Artosphere off the Grid (symphony performance)

Come listen to the Artosphere Festival Orchestra in a pop up concert at the Chautauqua Amphitheater in Memorial Park.

The Artosphere Festival Orchestra (AFO), under the baton of Music Director Corrado Rovaris made its debut performance on May 17, 2011 at Walton Arts Center. Beginning from its premiere season in 2011, and for every year since, over 90 world-class musicians from distinguished symphonies, chamber ensembles and music schools around the world travel to Northwest Arkansas to participate in the annual festival celebrating the convergence of arts, music, nature and sustainability. In addition to traditional orchestral, chamber music, and community engagement performances, members of the Artosphere Festival Orchestra also perform pop-up mini concerts in a variety of settings, and participate in popular performances on the scenic Ozark trails and in other beautiful natural settings.

Saturday, June 22: Shakespeare in the Park- A Midsummer Night’s Dream

"A Midsummer Night's Dream" will be produced by Siloam Springs Center for the Arts, in cooperation with the City of Siloam Springs, at the new Chautauqua Amphitheater in Memorial Park. The event is free and open to the public. It is a one-hour adaptation of the original play, featuring 21 area actors.

The play will begin at 8 pm on Saturday, June 22nd, as a part of the Roy Chesney Arts Appreciation Series. Blankets and lawn chairs are recommended, and attendees are invited to purchase a takeout meal downtown or bring a picnic basket to enjoy. Prior to the play, other activities will be available, including such things as music and a photo booth. The park's water feature is available until 8 pm.
