JBU Toilet Paper Game Tradition Continues

What:

The JBU Golden Eagles host the annual toilet paper game, a much-anticipated tradition that has been named the "best technical foul in college sports" by USA Today.

When:

Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.

Where:

Bill George Arena, John Brown University

Why:

Each year during the first home game, JBU basketball fans hurl rolls of toilet paper onto the court after the first JBU basket of the season. The nearly 40 year-old tradition brings in record crowds with approximately 2,000 rolls of toilet paper and lands JBU an automatic technical foul. Kimberly-Clark Corporation will sponsor this year’s game by providing 2,000 rolls of Scott 1000 toilet paper which fans can get by donating a canned protein item. The food, along with another 2,000 rolls of Scott 1000 toilet paper from Kimberly-Clark, will go to the Manna Center and be distributed to families in need.

The JBU Golden Eagles men's basketball team will take on the Crowley's Ridge Pioneers (Ark.) in this year's toilet paper game.
