SSMH unveils sign at future site of new hospital

Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital unveiled a sign marking the future site of the new hospital on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009. The future home of SSMH is located on Progress Avenue, adjacent to the new high school in Siloam Springs.

Several hospital officials were on-hand for the sign unveiling. Those present were:

  • Kevin Clement, SSMH CEO and SSMH Board of Trustees
  • Dr. Chad Hill, SSMH chief of staff, SSMH Board of Trustees member and SSMH Medical Executive Committee member
  • Dr. David Scott Estes, SSMH Board of Trustees member
  • Tim Estes, chairman of the SSMH Board of Trustees
  • Grady Nichols, SSMH Board of Trustees member
  • Dr. John Caswell, SSMH Medical Executive Committee member
  • Dr. Carl Duncan, SSMH Medical Executive Committee member
  • Bob Stephenson, ex-officio SSMH Board of Trustees member.

“As we gather today to unveil our ‘future home of’ signage we extend our appreciation to our medical staff partners, board of trustees, the employees and volunteers whose combined effort has allowed for a successful 2009 transition year,” said SSMH Chief Executive Officer Kevin Clement. “We look forward to 2010 and are grateful to the community and the community leaders who have supported the evolution of healthcare service delivery. Trust that we are working each day with our physicians to ensure we respond to the growing medical needs of our service area here in Siloam Springs, west Benton County and the border counties of our neighbor state.”
