Sager Creek Trail Partial Closing

Walking Trail

JBU will be closing parts of the Sager Creek walking trail that goes through campus this week. They are working along the trail pulling out non-native/invasive plants to make the area environmentally healthier. The areas impacted are:

  • - Monday – from Dogwood to Hutcheson Hall – this will include the outdoor exercise area
  • - Tuesday – from Hutcheson Hall to the northeast corner of the athletic fields
  • - Wednesday – from the northeast corner of the athletic fields to President’s bridge

Walkers will be able to use the rest of the trail. However, the university would ask that people not be on these parts while they are working. Barricades will be placed at each end noting the trail is closed.
