chamber logo webThe Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce welcomed State Representatives Robin Lundstrum and Dan Douglas and State Senator Jim Hendren to the First Bank Community Room.  After making opening remarks the Legislators fielded questions from citizens, ranging from progress on the “private option” to ending the every-other-year financial sessions to the opportunities the Legislature has to tighten up on State entitlements and support local control of public schools.  Mayor John Turner of the City of Siloam Springs and JP Tom Leadabrand of theBenton County Quorum Court were also present. 

Future briefings are scheduled for Sat., Feb. 28 and Sat., March 28.  Sessions begin at 10:30 am and wrap up by noon.  Citizens are encouraged to save a trip to Little Rock and meet with their representatives in person here in Siloam Springs.  Coffee is provided by First Bank.
