Description: The City of Siloam Springs will be accepting sealed bids for Tahlequah Street Trail and Pedestrian Bridge until 2:00 pm CST on November 28th, 2017 at the Community Development Building, 410 N. The scope of work includes construction of approximately 1,300 linear feet of 8’ wide concrete trail and the acquisition and installation of an 82’ pedestrian bridge with abutments. The project will also include construction of drainage improvements and crosswalk striping.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for all interested bidders on Tuesday, November 14th, 2017 at 3:00 pm, in the Conference Room of the Community Development Building. All interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend.
In order to perform public work, the successful Bidder shall, as applicable, hold such Contractor's and Business Licenses as required by State statutes and the Rules and Regulations of the Arkansas Contractor's Licensing Board.
The City shall open and compare the bids and thereafter award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, but only if it is in the opinion of the City that the best interests of the City would be served thereby. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities, and to postpone the award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed 90 days from the bid opening date.
