Siloam Springs, ARK. – Main Street Siloam Springs is pleased to announce four recipients of the 2013 Gloria McEnroe Façade Renovation Grant: The Siloam Springs Chamber of Commerce, Dena Dickinson’s Law Office, Dogwood Literacy Council, and Style Studio. The grant, named after a long-time, dedicated board member and Siloam citizen, provides a dollar-for-dollar match up to $1000 per project, per year to selected applicants in the Main Street Siloam Springs program area for exterior building improvements.
For three consecutive years, Main Street Siloam Springs has been awarded state grant funds from the Main Street Arkansas Downtown Revitalization Grant from which they have created the Gloria McEnroe Façade Renovation Grants. In addition to the matching funds, Main Street offers business owners free consultation and design ideation in order to both improve the appearance of the business and preserve the historic and architectural identity of downtown buildings. This grant has, in previous years, helped shops such as The Café on Broadway and Occasions improve their appearance without debilitating cost to the business owners.
