  • Why: JBU built a 20,000 square foot state-of-the-art health education facility that will  house a robust Bachelor's of Science in nursing program to provide graduates with    greater job options and the opportunity for career advancement.

jbu health education bldgJohn Brown University will celebrate the opening of the Health Education Building with a ribbon
cutting ceremony. The 20,000 square foot Health Education Building includes three classrooms,
four exam rooms with computer-operated, interactive mannequins that simulate urgent care
scenarios, two health assessment labs, a computer lab, offices and study lounges. The building
will also house JBU's nursing program, which launches this fall with over 40 students enrolled and an additional 68 students in the pre-nursing track.
