Dr Chad Hill

Dr. Chad Hill, OB/GYN, of Siloam Springs Women's Center was selected as the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital Physician of the Year for 2012.

Dr. Hill was nominated because of his dedication to patient care throughout the year delivering 530 of the 593 babies born at SSRH in 2012. According to Chief Executive Officer Kevin Clement, after Dr. David Crownover left the Siloam Springs area in December 2011 – Dr. Hill worked single-handedly for 8 months to ensure area infants and mothers were well taken care of.

"Dr. Hill continued to provide his standard of exceptional patient care for families during this time of transition," Clement said. "We are in awe and in appreciation of the hard work and dedication he provided to our community and our facility."

"Dr. Hill did a great job working by himself, providing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week for 8 months," Women and Children's Unit Director Loretta Jordan said. "During our move to the new facility, Dr. Hill made sure he was at the hospital on Jefferson Street to assess patients. He then assisted in transporting them to the hospital on Progress Avenue even going the extra effort to drive behind an ambulance and walk in with a patient to ensure a safe arrival.

"He also was instrumental in ensuring patient safety wasn't compromised when the hospital moved across town. Because of Dr. Hill, the transition went in a timely manner without any delay of care for our patients," Jordan said. "I've worked with him for years and he's a wonderful doctor. It's really special to find a doctor who will work closely with the nurses and be a part of the team."

Dr. Hill has been with the Siloam Springs Regional Hospital medical staff since 1998.
