... WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST WEDNESDAY...

FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES... * IN OKLAHOMA... WASHINGTON... OSAGE... CRAIG... NOWATA... PAWNEE... OTTAWA... ROGERS... MAYES AND DELAWARE. IN ARKANSAS... BENTON... WASHINGTON... CARROLL... MADISON AND FRANKLIN.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER... * RAIN... MIXED WITH SNOW... WILL SPREAD INTO NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA FROM WEST TO EAST THROUGH EARLY EVENING. THE WINTRY MIX SHOULD TRANSITION TO MAINLY SNOW AS THE PRECIPITATION SPREADS INTO NORTHWEST ARKANSAS BY MID TO LATE EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES ARE EXPECTED WITH LOCALLY 3 INCHES POSSIBLE THROUGH TONIGHT. THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED WEST OF HIGHWAY 75 IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND THE HIGHER TERRAIN AREAS OF NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. THE SNOW SHOULD SHIFT EAST OF THE REGION LATE TONIGHT WITH PRECIPITATION CHANCES ENDING.

IMPACTS... * ROADS IN THE ADVISORY AREA MAY BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS... ESPECIALLY ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES AND NON-TREATED SURFACES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... * USE EXTRA CAUTION IF DRIVING. ATTEMPT TO STAY ON TREATED ROADWAYS. EXPECT TRAVEL DELAYS.
