The ALLEN CLASSIC Jr. Hi. Basketball Tournament is a Siloam Springs tradition that dates back to 1977. The ALLEN CLASSIC is sponsored by Pete and Pat Allen, Linda Allen Brown and Cheryl and Hank Harrison.
There are 44 games in 2 boy's and 2 girl's divisions in the ALLEN CLASSIC being held in two gyms at Siloam Springs High School on Nov. 15th - Nov. 20th.
This is the 34th year for the tournament. The ALLEN CLASSIC is one of the largest and oldest Jr.Hi. invitational basketball tournaments in the state and the tournament features teams from Northwest Arkansas and Northeast Oklahoma. This year there are 16 schools bringing their Jr. Hi. girls' and boys' teams to this early season tournament.
Each team member from each squad receives an ALLEN CLASSIC tee shirt and each member of the winning teams in each bracket receives a tournament championship medallion.
Admission is $4 for adults and $3 for students. Passes that are honored are SSSD passes, JBU passes and Arkansas Activities Association passes. Cheer and Pep squads performing in uniform are admitted free.
