The Lady Eagles defeated Wayland Baptist University (Texas) with a final score of 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 15-25, 25-18).

JBU dominated the court defensively with senior libero Sarah Jordan making 26 digs followed by junior Erin Didier with 22 digs and sophomore Staci Williamson with 18.

Offensively, Didier paced the Lady Eagles with 17 kills.  Williamson had 15 kills and senior Allie Rankin had 12.  

The Lady Eagles play again on Tuesday, Sept. 27 on the road against Oklahoma City at 7 p.m.
