On Friday, July 9th, 2010, Tim Breeding and Anju Nanda came to Genesis House from the Financial Department of Wal-Mart in Bentonville to present us with a $25,000.00 check. The Finance Department has been a long term supporter of Genesis House. In 2008 they sponsored a $55,000.00 donation from the Wal-Mart Foundation and again in 2009. These donations have been a direct funding of our client assistance programs and went to such things as Emergency Shelter, Rent Assistance, Gasoline, Prescriptions, and other daily needs.
