Description

Entries are now being accepted for The Miss Dogwood and Miss Heart of the Ozarks Scholarship Pageant which will be held on Feb. 7, at 6 p.m., at Arend Arts Center at Bentonville High School.

Also crowned on February 7th will be a Miss Dogwood Outstanding Teen and Miss Heart of the Ozarks Outstanding Teen.

Winners will go on to compete in the state pageants this summer.

There are four divisions: little miss (5-8) princess (9-12), outstanding teen (13-17 year old high school junior), miss (17 year-old-high school senior-24 years).

The deadline to enter is Jan. 31, but late entries may be accepted.

Contestants will compete in private interview, lifestyle and fitness wear, on-stage question, artistic expression and evening wear. The Miss Dogwood and Miss Heart of the Ozarks competition exists for the purpose of providing personal and professional opportunities for young American women and promoting their voice in culture, politics and the community.
