It’s quitting time and on the way out, a young lawyer sees the managing partner of the law firm standing looking confused in front of a shredder with a piece of paper in his hand.

“Listen,” the managing partner says. “This is a very sensitive and important document, and my secretary has left for the day. Can you make this thing work?”

“No problem,” says the young lawyer. He turns the machine on, inserts the paper, and presses “Start.”

“Excellent!” said the managing partner as his paper disappeared inside the machine. “I just need one copy.”
