February 10, 2017 (Siloam Springs, Ark.) The City of Siloam Springs is pleased to announce that Phillip Stokes joined the staff as the Electric Department Director February 1, 2017. His most recent employment was Customer Support Services Superintendent with Grand River Dam Authority, the establishment that provides electricity to the City of Siloam Springs. City Administrator Phillip Patterson noted "We were looking for someone with a mix of management and high level electrical experience. As you can imagine; that's can be a challenge. I'm confident that Phillip Stokes will be an excellent addition to City staff."

While Mr. Stokes got his start operations in the Relay Department of the coal fire plant in Pryor,  Oklahoma, his past twenty years have been dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction, improving customer relations and improving service. He brings deep management knowledge and an ability to work with people, balance tasks, troubleshooting and customer service.

In his free time, Mr. Stokes enjoys teaching adult Sunday School classes, playing golf, racquetball, fishing and umpiring baseball and softball.
