WHO?... Well, You, Silly (and all your rich friends)! Come spend an evening with the stars, or at least with those of us who are convinced that we are stars.. At "Fringe Theatre Project" we simply desire to bring a progressive theatrical experience to Siloam and the surrounding area.
WHAT?... Fringe Theatre Project presents..."The Off, Off, Off Broadway Cabaret Benefit and Silent Auction"! Enjoy an intimate evening with FTP's founding members and players. Let us entertain you- we will indeed make you smile! We will be performing some numbers that you will undoubtedly recognize and others that you will undoubtedly want to know after hearing our renditions.
For the competitor in you, the evening will also include a silent auction with something for everyone and every budget. Emelia's will be providing delectable hor's doeuvres and the bar will be open for those who would like. Note: we use "open" loosely...drinks will be available for those who would like. We'd love to get you all toasted but you'll have to wait until we’ve won our first Tony. Then we'll buy you all a round or 10!
WHEN?...Sharpie us in, we can't even stand to use that ugly word..."penc.." See can't do it! November 6, 2011, right after Main Street Siloam Springs' Holiday Open House! Doors open at 6:00 Show begins at 6:30 Seating will be general admission.
WHERE?... Emelia's Restaurant 100 E. University Siloam Springs
WHY?... (A) Because all the cool kids are doing it, and (B) We need money y'all!! We are all simply art loving, theater nerds. We are all also volunteers who have "normal-ish" lives outside of "Fringe" but most importantly we all know what a difference the arts have made in our personal lives. We desire to share this with everyone. In our own very personal way, we are each a testament to how art in so many forms will change a life. This benefit's profit will directly go to the cost of filing our not-for-profit status, the production costs for our first full-scale show, "Godspell", in the spring of 2012 (Directed by Ben Hill, produced by Sarah Baird-Engleke and possibly starring some of....well, You!).
A LITTLE DIS, A LITTLE DAT… Tickets are $12 per person. The cost of your ticket will include hor's doeuvres, a great show and silent auction. Again, the bar will be available for those who would like to drink too much and become very philanthropic. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, October 26th. We accept cash and checks. Call 479-427-6857 to make your reservation, or pick up your tickets at Emelia's! You may also mail a check to: P.O. Box 7142 Siloam Springs, AR 72761
*We do ask that if you make a reservation, please arrive half an hour before the show, so that we will be allowed to fill the maximum number of seats. Running late may subject your seat to be given away. (Wah-Waaaaah) We do not want you to miss out! We will sell tickets at the door as we are able.
Please note that some material may be unsuitable for children. Please use discretion. Unless you know kids with money…go ahead and bring them. They can afford the therapy. Seriously though we love kids (most of us behave like them ourselves) and have some great ideas for children’s shows and theater but this is not one of them. Get to know us before introducing us to the family.
This is such a huge night for us and we hope that every one of you can join and celebrate with us.
